Membership terms
Last updated 13 October 2026
1. Who we are
Dialog Dojo is a live speaking-training membership run by Kain Masters in Malaysia ("we", "us"). You can reach us at . By joining, you agree to these terms.
2. Your membership
- Your membership includes live online classes (currently Tuesday and Thursday at 8pm Singapore time), Open Mat, Fight Night, the members' group on Skool, the Dojo training tools, and your Dojo Score card.
- We may change class times, add classes or replace a class when needed. We'll tell you in the members' group, and we'll never cut the number of live classes in a billing period you've already paid for without making it up to you.
- Belts are earned for skills shown at Grading Week, not for time spent as a member, and awarded at Fight Night.
- Membership is personal and for adults aged 18 and over. Please don't share your login, your tool codes or class links.
3. Payment and automatic renewal
- Prices are in US dollars. Payments are taken by Stripe; we never see your full card number.
- Your membership renews automatically at the end of each billing period (monthly, every 6 months or every year) at the same price, until you cancel.
- We email you at least 7 days before each 6-month renewal, and 30 days before each annual renewal.
- Free-month offers (for people Kain has coached): the first 30 days are free, then the membership renews at the price shown at sign-up unless you cancel before the 30 days end.
- If a payment fails, Stripe tries again over the following days. If it still fails, your access is paused until it's paid.
- If we ever change the price for members who aren't founders, we'll give you at least 30 days' notice by email, and the change applies from your next renewal after that.
4. Cancelling, pausing, refunds and the guarantee
- You can cancel online at any time, at dialogdojo.co/cancel, from the "Manage subscription" link in your billing emails, or from the pinned Billing post in the members' group. No call or email is needed.
- Cancelling stops your next payment. You keep access until the end of the period you've already paid for.
- Monthly plan: we don't refund part-used months.
- 6-month and annual plans: if you change your mind within 14 days of your first payment, email us and we'll refund you in full. After that, cancelling stops the next renewal and you keep access until the end of your paid period.
- You can ask to pause for one month at a time. While paused, you aren't charged. On a 6-month or annual plan, the paused month is added to the end of your plan.
- Holding your rate. Instead of cancelling, you can put your membership on hold for $9 a month. While on hold, you don't join classes or use the training tools, and you keep your rate, your belt progress and, for founders, founding status. The hold is charged every month until you come back or cancel it, which you can do at any time on your billing page. When you come back, your old rate applies from your next payment.
- 90-day money-back guarantee. The guarantee is for members who put in the work. If you train for your first 90 days and your Dojo Score doesn't improve, we refund what you've paid. To qualify, you need to:
- attend at least 90% of the live classes held in your first 90 days of membership. A class counts when you're there for the whole class, with your camera on, and take part in the reps. We keep the attendance record;
- take the Entry Test within 7 days of joining and before your third class, and the Day 90 Test when it opens (from day 85, and by day 100), and send Kain both parts of each so they can be scored;
- give both tests a genuine, full effort. If Kain believes a test doesn't reflect what he has seen from you in class, he may ask you to retake it live with him on Zoom, and the live result is the one that counts; and
- email us within 14 days of receiving your Day 90 card.
- Nothing here takes away any right to cancel or get a refund that the law where you live gives you.
5. Founding members
- The first 60 members are founding members.
- Founding members keep their price for as long as their membership continues, on any plan, and can earn every belt from White to Black inside the membership.
- If a founding member cancels and rejoins within 30 days, they keep founding status. After that, they rejoin on the terms open at that time. A founding member on hold keeps founding status for as long as the hold continues.
- Founding status is personal and can't be transferred.
- From the 61st member, the membership covers the belt path up to Blue Belt; higher belts are earned in separate Fight Camps.
6. Dojo materials and codes
The drills, games, scripts, tools, slides, class recordings and course content are for your own practice while you're a member. Please don't copy, record, resell, publish or teach them, feed them into AI tools, or share your tool or belt codes. We may remove access, without a refund, if materials or codes are shared.
7. Classes and recordings
- Live classes, Open Mat, Fight Night and other Dojo sessions may be recorded, including your video, voice and name. Breakout rooms are not recorded.
- Recordings of Dojo sessions are owned by Kain Masters (Dialog Dojo).
- By joining a session or posting in the members' group, you agree that Kain Masters may use those recordings and your posts (including your image, voice, name and what you say or write) for any purpose connected with his work: sharing with members, courses, social media, advertising, websites and other content, worldwide, with no time limit and without payment to you.
- If you share something very personal in class and want it kept out of public content, email us and we won't use that part publicly.
- Please join classes with your camera on, from a quiet place.
8. Your videos
Your Dojo Test videos (the Entry Test and the Day 90 Test) are private. The training tools record them on your own device, and they only go to Kain when you send them for scoring. They're used only for your Dojo Score card and feedback, and they're never posted or shared. This is separate from the session recordings in section 7.
9. How we treat each other
Feedback in the Dojo is honest and kind. Follow the group rules, respect other members' privacy (what's said in class stays in class), and don't record other members. We may remove anyone who harasses others or breaks the rules; for serious breaches, without a refund.
10. Coaching, not therapy
Dialog Dojo is skills training. It isn't therapy, medical treatment or a substitute for professional help. Everyone progresses at their own pace, and we can't promise a particular result.
11. Our responsibility
We'll run the Dojo with reasonable skill and care. As far as the law allows, our total responsibility to you is limited to what you've paid us in the 3 months before the problem, and we aren't responsible for indirect losses. Nothing in these terms limits responsibility that can't legally be limited.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. We'll post the new version here and tell members by email or in the members' group at least 14 days before a change that affects you takes effect.
13. Law
These terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia. If you live elsewhere, you keep any protections the law of your country gives you.
