Who looks after your information

Dialog Dojo is run by Kain Masters in Malaysia. Kain is responsible for your personal information. Contact: .

What we collect

• When you join: your name, email and billing details. Payments are handled by Stripe; we never see or store your full card number.
• In the members' group (Skool): your profile, your answers to the joining questions, and what you post.
• In classes, Open Mat and Fight Night (Zoom): your name, attendance, and recordings of the sessions, including your video and voice (see the membership terms).
• When you register for Open Mat: your name, email, WhatsApp number and Instagram handle, so we can send you the Zoom link and reminders.
• When you email us: your name, email and what you write.
• Your Dojo Test videos: only if you send them to Kain for scoring. They're kept privately in Kain's Google Drive and never posted or shared.

This website

• This site sets no cookies and uses no trackers or analytics. Our fonts are hosted here, not by Google.
• If you arrive through a friend's referral link, their name is kept in your browser for that visit only, so it reaches checkout and we know who sent you.
• The video is from YouTube in privacy-enhanced mode, and it loads only when you press play. From then on, YouTube's privacy policy applies to the video.
• Checkout happens on Stripe's secure pages, under Stripe's privacy policy.
• Our host, Netlify, keeps standard technical logs (such as IP addresses) for security.

The training tools

The Dojo training tools run in your browser. Video you record in the Recording Studio stays on your own device, and your settings and progress are saved in your browser's storage on that device. Nothing is uploaded by the tools. Your Dojo Test videos only leave your device when you send them to Kain for scoring.

Why we use it

• To run your membership: let you into the group, bill you, send receipts, class reminders and renewal notices.
• To coach you: feedback, your Dojo Score card and belt grading.
• To make content: recordings of Dojo sessions and posts in the members' group may be used in courses, social media, ads and other content (see the membership terms, section 7). Dojo Test videos are never used this way.
• To send you news and offers, only if you've agreed. Every email has an unsubscribe link.

Who we share it with

Only the services that run the Dojo for us: Stripe (payments), Skool (members' group), Zoom (classes), Google Workspace (email and forms), Systeme.io (email newsletters), Calendly (booking calls), Typeform (Open Mat sign-ups, coaching applications and the Transformation form), and Netlify (website hosting). Some are based outside Malaysia, so your information may be processed in other countries under their safeguards. We never sell your information.

How long we keep it

While you're a member, and for up to 2 years after you leave, so you can come back with your progress. Dojo Test videos are deleted within 6 months of your Day 90 Test, or sooner if you ask. Payment records are kept for as long as tax law requires. Session recordings and content already published are kept. You can ask us to delete your other information sooner.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete your information, or to stop receiving marketing emails, at any time by emailing . We'll reply within 21 days. You can also complain to the data protection authority where you live (in Malaysia, the Personal Data Protection Commissioner).

Age

Dialog Dojo is for adults aged 18 and over.

Changes

If we change this policy, we'll update this page and the date at the top, and tell members about important changes.
